OPERATIONS MANAGER

Join the Team at Hero Serv

Hero Serv is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates with a solid background in catering and hospitality to apply for the position of Operations Manager based in Bryanston.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage catering operations across multiple client sites, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality food and service standards.
Drive operational excellence and ensure efficient day-to-day management of operations.
Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Oversee staff performance, training, and development.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company standards.
Monitor budgets, stock control, and cost management to ensure profitability.
Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.
Manage and motivate teams to achieve operational targets and company objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Project Management or a relevant qualification in Operations Management, Hospitality, Catering Management, or a related field.
5 – 8 years of experience in the hospitality or a related field with a strong emphasis on catering.
Proven experience in operations management within the catering, hospitality, or facilities management environment is a must.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites.
Willingness and ability to travel within South Africa and across Africa as required.
Strong financial and administrative skills.
Computer literacy and reporting skills.
Valid driver’s license will be advantageous.
