We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trade Tested Painter to join our team.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid Trade Test Certificate as a Painter.
- Minimum 3 years' proven painting experience in industrial, commercial, construction, or maintenance environments.
- Experience working in power stations, mines, or similar heavy industrial environments will be advantageous.
- Valid medical certificate (where required).
- Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling, and priming.
- Apply paint, varnish, epoxy, protective coatings, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and compliant with health and safety standards.

- Sound knowledge of painting techniques, products, and surface preparation.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
