About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Working Foreman with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the team, ensuring efficient project execution while actively participating in tasks. This role requires a balance of leadership, technical proficiency, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of the team.
- Carry out hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.
- Liaise with management to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a foreman or supervisory role within electrical and mechanical fields.
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Able to operate basic lathe and milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A valid forklift license
