The successful candidate will be responsible to assist with verifying incoming material and accompanying documentation (COC’s) of various parts and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Minimum Requirements

Grade 12/Senior Certificate

1 year experience in a similar field in automotive

Duties & Responsibilities

Process:

Check the condition of all delivered material. Material and packaging are not damaged.
Check the quality of the incoming material. Use the master samples and checking fixtures.
Update supplier delivery records daily.
Document reject material and return to supplier daily.
Responsible for housekeeping in his / her area
Capture stock on to BPCS
Conduct monthly stock takes
Incoming material must be verified before being released for production use
Compile and issue monthly supplier PPM reports, must be complete before month end meeting
Supplier returns are charged to the suppliers and cleared daily from the quarantine area

Interact with internal customers

SHE:

Conduct continuous risk assessments in the workplace
Conduct planned task observations
Identify potential hazards and critical safety issues in the workplace
Address workplace hazards and risks
Apply safety, health and environment practises and legal requirements when working on machines and equipment

Quality:

Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management Systems
