Job Title: PDI Shipment Inspector

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct pre-delivery and shipment inspections on vehicles or products.
· Check for damages, defects, missing parts, or discrepancies.
· Monitor loading and unloading procedures to prevent damage.
· Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
· Maintain inspection records and photographic evidence where required.
· Inspect vehicle interiors, exteriors, accessories, and functionality.
· Ensure vehicles meet manufacturer and dealership quality standards before dispatch.
· Verify VIN/chassis numbers, engine numbers, and shipment documentation.
· Complete inspection reports and update tracking systems accurately
· Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, transporters, and dealership staff.
· Report damages or non-conformances immediately to management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Matric certificate
· Previous experience in vehicle inspection, logistics, shipping, or automotive operations preferred.
· Basic knowledge of vehicle components and quality inspection procedures.
· Ability to identify defects and damages accurately.
· Computer literacy and report-writing skills.
· Valid driver’s license.
