Signage & Print Production Assistant
We are a fast-paced print and signage company looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team.
This position involves both production and retail responsibilities and requires someone who is physically fit, hands-on, and able to work in a demanding production environment.
Essential Requirements
✔ Previous signage industry experience.
✔ Application and Installation experience.
✔ Proficient in CorelDRAW.
✔ Previous retail/customer service experience.
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills.
✔ Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
✔ Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
✔ Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, loading, and installing
signage and print materials.
Responsibilities
- Designing artwork and preparing print-ready files using CorelDRAW.
- Producing and finishing signage, decals, banners, labels, and other printed products.
- Vinyl application, weeding, laminating, mounting, trimming, and finishing.
- Operating wide-format printers, cutters, laminators, and other production equipment.
- Assisting customers with enquiries and orders.
- Preparing quotations and processing sales.
- Assisting with on-site signage installations.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Preferred
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Experience operating Roland printers and cutting equipment.
- Knowledge of heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and garment decoration.
- Basic computer skills and general administration experience.
