We are looking for a Panel Beater who will be responsible for the final finishing and alignment of panels on composite and/or steel vehicle bodies, including boots, bonnets, and doors. All work must be completed according to specified quality standards and paint shop approval requirements.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
o Applying and sanding body filler on composite and steel vehicle bodies.
o Performing metal finishing on vehicle bodies.
o Ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
o Working according to company specifications and quality standards.
o Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
o Must be willing to perform a practical test on request
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
o Matric Certificate or equivalent
o Proven experience as a Panel Beater and/or Stripper Assembler.
o Previous experience working on composite and/or steel-bodied vehicles will be advantageous.
o Good manual skills, accuracy, and precision.
o Physically fit and able to perform manual work
o Good interpersonal and communication skills
ADVANTAGEOUS:
o Trade certification
o 3 years and more experience as a panel beater / metal finisher
o Basic welding experience
o Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
o Ability to work under pressure
o Knowledge of health & safety regulation
