Understand the scope of works required and help prepare clear estimates and proposals.
Coordinate with maintenance coordinators, engineers, subcontractors, and admin staff to ensure jobs are booked, completed, and reported correctly.
Follow up with clients on estimates, approvals, outstanding works, and completed jobs.
Keep clients updated professionally throughout the job process.
Help manage reactive maintenance works, planned maintenance, refurbishments, bathrooms, kitchens, repairs, and general multi-trade works.
Maintain accurate records in company systems including CRM, job management software, email, and shared folders.
Support client retention by delivering a reliable and organised account management service.
Requirements
Previous experience in property maintenance, construction, facilities management, project management, building repairs, or a similar industry.
Strong understanding of how maintenance and construction jobs are priced, scoped, scheduled, and delivered.
Experience managing client relationships in a B2B environment.
Excellent communication skills, especially written English.
Confident speaking to UK-based clients over phone, email, and WhatsApp.
Strong organisation and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple jobs and clients at the same time.
Commercial awareness and ability to help convert enquiries into approved works.
Comfortable working with CRMs, job management systems, spreadsheets, and email.
Must be office-based in Umhlanga, Durban.
Ideal Candidate
You may have worked as a project coordinator, maintenance coordinator, contracts administrator, property manager, construction coordinator, facilities coordinator, estimator, or account manager within a maintenance or construction environment.
You must be confident dealing with trades, clients, estimates, deadlines, and job updates.
This role would suit someone who is organised, sharp, proactive, and able to take ownership of client accounts from enquiry through to completion.
