Executive Personal Assistant to the Director

Company: East Rand Bulk
Location: Durban (with national travel)
Position Type: Full-Time (After-hours flexibility)

About Us

East Rand Bulk is a leading accredited fuel transportation company. We pride ourselves on reliability, excellence, and a high-performance culture. We are seeking a sharp, sophisticated, and highly capable Executive Personal Assistant to partner directly with our director.

The Role

In this pivotal role, you will provide elite, confidential administrative and strategic support to the group Executive. You will keep our leadership organized, efficient, and ahead of schedule by managing critical business systems, high-level events, and high-stakes projects.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support: Deliver full, confidential secretarial and high-level administrative services to the Director.
Tender Management: Oversee the end-to-end tender process, from identification and preparation to final submission.
System Optimization: Build and maintain flawless planning, tracking, and administrative systems.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute strategy days, staff briefings, conferences, and executive meetings.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a professional gatekeeper and point of contact for business executives and high-end officials.

What You Bring

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Executive Assistant or PA role.
Industry Expertise: Non-negotiable experience in identifying, preparing, and finalizing corporate tenders (experience within the oil/fuel sector is highly preferred).
Executive Presence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, flawless telephone/email etiquette, and a polished, mature, and professional demeanour.
Resilience: Proven ability to thrive and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and demanding environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel across South Africa and work outside of standard office hours when required.
Education: Minimum Matric qualification.
Bonus Points: Experience or skills in Marketing and Public Relations (PR).
