Contact Centre Agent – Fixed Term Maternity Cover
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Contact Centre Agent to join our Contact Centre team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and sales support to customers within the healthcare and dental sector. This will include handling customer enquiries across various platforms, processing orders accurately, resolving complaints, logging customer interactions on CRM, and supporting sales opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and lead generation.
This role would suit someone who is organised, confident when dealing with customers, able to work well under pressure, and comfortable working in a regulated customer service environment where accuracy, data protection, and compliance are important.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality customer service across telephone, email, and other communication platforms.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
Process customer orders accurately in line with company procedures, including requirements relating to customer data protection and medicine-related orders where applicable.
Record and update all customer interactions on CRM.
Support sales activity by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Work closely with field sales representatives and internal teams across the business.
Work towards departmental KPIs relating to productivity, response times, quality, and customer service.
Support back-office administrative tasks when required.
Develop product and system knowledge through training and daily use.
Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety, quality, data protection, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service, contact centre, sales support, or order processing role.
Experience within the dental, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated product environment would be beneficial.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisation, time management, and multitasking ability.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional and polite telephone manner.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
