We are seeking an experienced Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) with a strong background in Learning & Development within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing the end-to-end skills development cycle, working closely with BANKSETA and INSETA, and coordinating learnerships, graduate programmes and other employee development initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of the organisation’s learning and development strategy, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring compliance with relevant SETAs, Skills Development and BBBEE requirements.
Key Experience & Competencies
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven experience working as an SDF within the financial services, banking, insurance or related sector.
- Strong working knowledge and experience engaging with BANKSETA and INSETA, including funding applications, learner registrations, reporting and compliance requirements.
- Practical experience in the coordination and administration of learnership programmes, including learner onboarding, contracts/agreements, attendance, learner progress, provider management and completion.
- Experience coordinating and managing graduate programmes, including recruitment support, onboarding, programme coordination, stakeholder engagement and tracking of graduate development.
- Experience coordinating training interventions, from identifying learning needs through to implementation, monitoring and reporting.
- Experience working with accredited training providers, including managing programme requirements, documentation, schedules, learner records and invoices.
- Strong understanding of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP), Annual Training Reports (ATR), PIVOTAL programmes and SETA reporting requirements.
- Good understanding of BBBEE Skills Development requirements and the ability to ensure learning initiatives support the organisation’s transformation objectives.
- Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including HR, business leaders, employees, SETAs, training providers and external partners.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple learning programmes and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong reporting and data management capabilities, with the ability to analyse and present learning and development information to management.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Skills Development, Business Management or a related field.
- Registered/experienced SDF with relevant SETA exposure.
