Alliance Media is a global leader in out-of-home (OOH) advertising with a commanding presence across Africa. From high-impact billboards to dynamic digital screens, our network reaches millions of consumers every single day.
When you join Alliance Media, you become part of a team that is actively shaping the future of advertising on the continent one campaign, one client, one relationship at a time. We are committed to innovation, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional brand visibility for our clients across every market we serve.
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and energised by supporting a fast-moving, high-performance sales team? Do you take pride in getting the details right, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks? If so, Alliance Media wants to hear from you.
We are looking for an Internal Sales Administrator who will serve as the operational backbone of our commercial function. In this role, you will ensure that our sales team can focus on what they do best — building relationships and winning business — while you keep the engine running: accurate CRM records, polished proposals, timely correspondence, and seamless internal coordination.
This is more than an administrative role. It is an opportunity to build deep expertise in the media industry, develop strong commercial instincts, and grow within one of Africa's most exciting advertising businesses.
About the role
As an Internal Sales Administrator, you will work closely with sales executives and account managers to support the full sales cycle — from initial enquiry through to campaign handover. You will be the connective tissue between our clients, our sales team, and our internal operations, ensuring that every interaction is professional, every deadline is met, and every opportunity is properly tracked and followed up.
Day to day, you will manage and maintain our Salesforce CRM, prepare compelling client-facing documents, handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, and provide proactive administrative support across the team. You will also play a key role in helping the business stay informed — monitoring industry news, tracking competitor activity, and compiling useful market updates for the sales team.
If you are someone who thrives in a structured environment, loves bringing order to complexity, and finds genuine satisfaction in enabling others to perform at their best — this role was made for you.
What we are looking for
- 1–2 years of experience in a sales support, administration, or coordination role — you understand how a commercial team operates and what it needs to succeed
- Hands-on Salesforce CRM experience (1–2 years) — you are comfortable updating records, managing pipelines, running reports, and ensuring data accuracy at all times
- Strong organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail — you catch errors before they become problems and keep multiple priorities moving simultaneously
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication — you can correspond confidently with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset — you do not wait to be asked; you anticipate needs, take initiative, and follow through on commitments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace — particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for proposal and document preparation
- A team-first attitude — you understand that your success is measured by the success of those around you, and you bring a positive, supportive energy to everything you do
- A diploma qualification (required)
What you will be doing
- Maintaining and updating the Salesforce CRM on a daily basis — logging client interactions, tracking pipeline stages, flagging follow-ups, and generating accurate sales reports for the team
- Supporting the sales team in preparing professional media proposals, presentations, rate cards, and client documentation that reflect the quality and credibility of the Alliance Media brand
- Managing inbound and outbound client correspondence — responding to enquiries, coordinating information requests, and ensuring that clients always receive a timely, professional response
- Liaising with internal teams including operations, finance, and campaign management to assist with smooth campaign coordination, booking confirmation, and post-sale handover
- Managing team calendars, scheduling client meetings and calls, organising travel logistics, and preparing meeting materials and briefing documents as required
- Monitoring media industry news, competitor activity, and market developments, and assisting with the compilation of regular updates and intelligence summaries for the sales team
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients by preparing welcome packs, setting up account records, and ensuring all required documentation is in place
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as the business evolves and opportunities arise
