We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Digital Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Cape Town.
This role is ideal for a designer with a strong eye for layout, typography and digital design, who enjoys creating engaging email campaigns, website assets and digital marketing creatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our campaign calendar by designing high-quality visual assets that drive engagement, enhance the customer experience and maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Design engaging email newsletter campaigns that align with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
- Create website assets including homepage banners, category banners, landing page graphics, promotional tiles and campaign artwork.
- Design digital marketing creatives for social media, paid media, Google Display campaigns and other online platforms.
- Resize and adapt creative assets across multiple digital formats and platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing, E-commerce and Retail teams to ensure creative consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Assist with image editing and basic photo manipulation where required.
- Prepare artwork according to platform specifications and best practices for email, web and digital advertising.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ensure all creative output maintains a high level of quality, accuracy and brand consistency.
- Stay up to date with current digital design, e-commerce and retail marketing trends.
Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience designing email campaigns, website graphics and digital marketing assets.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, branding and user-focused design.
- Basic understanding of responsive design principles and designing for digital platforms.
- Experience working within a CMS or email marketing platform will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a similar digital design role.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant digital design work (only applications accompanied by a portfolio will be considered).
