About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Retail Sales & Administration Assistant to join our busy appliance store. This is a fast-paced retail environment where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Accuracy is essential, as it directly impacts customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service both in-store and over the phone.
- Assist customers with product enquiries and recommend suitable appliances.
- Process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and other sales documentation.
- Perform daily administrative duties and maintain accurate records.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and warranty requests professionally.
- Follow up on customer orders and deliveries.
- Work closely with suppliers and delivery teams.
- Ensure all pricing, stock, and paperwork are accurate.
- Assist with stock control, stock counts, and receiving deliveries.
- Keep the showroom clean, organised, and well presented.
- Work efficiently during busy trading periods while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Assist with general store operations as required.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail (this is one of the most important requirements for this role).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to perform well under pressure without compromising accuracy.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with POS or retail software is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Own reliable transport is essential.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays, as required in the retail industry.
