Full Job Description

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR IN FOOD SERVICES

Junior Level Position

This position requires you to do food processing, meal preparation for 160 people, make food for events when required and to do daily collections of orders where it is necessary with a bakkie.

Duties will include:

Kitchen and Service Supervision 50% of the role
Menu Planning & Food Preparation 90% of the role
Stock Control 20% of the role
Health and Safety Compliance 100% of role
Asset Management 20% of the role
Staff Training 30% of the role

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Food Handling Certificate required
SA Citizen
Proven Food Service and stock control experience to ensure the smooth running of residential health facility kitchens and dining halls.
Experience in Menu Planning, including dietary requirements.
Skilled in food preparation of daily meals as per weekly menu requirements.
Knowledge of OHS regulations related to food handling and storing.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
Code B: Driver's License required.

The position is in Pretoria-East at Kungwini Welfare Organisation, Graham Road, Zwavelpoort.

Working Hours: MON - FRI: 08:00 TO 16:00
