The Role
Day-to-day at Ekco:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of managed services for our customers. You will work behind the scenes to maintain, support and improve cloud environments, ensuring stability, security and operational excellence.
You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, lead engineers and customer teams in the Netherlands, contributing your technical expertise to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
Implement approved changes and service improvements.
Administer and maintain Microsoft cloud environments.
Perform technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Monitor customer environments and proactively identify issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Support automation and standardization initiatives.
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple customer teams.
Participate in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement activities.
Participate in an on-call rotation when required.
Technical requirements:
Microsoft 365 Administration
Microsoft Entra ID
Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Azure
Windows Server
Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP)
Troubleshooting complex infrastructure environments
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Microsoft Security solutions
Fortinet, Meraki, SonicWall or Extreme Networks
PowerShell scripting
Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
Experience & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer role.
Relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Microsoft certifications are highly desirable:
