We're looking for a technically capable developer with a passion for building systems, solving problems and exploring new technologies.

About the Role
You'll play a key role in developing and improving the technology that powers our group of companies.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems, working with modern technologies and helping turn ideas into reality.
You'll be involved in everything from APIs and automations to AI, Shopify development and supporting the creation of new platforms, portals and applications.
Alongside this, you'll also act as our internal technical contact, providing day-to-day support whenever technical issues arise across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and improving our websites, systems, portals and applications.
- Writing, modifying and maintaining custom code.
- Working with APIs and integrations between different systems and software.
- Building automations and workflows using Zapier and similar platforms.
- Researching, testing and implementing AI tools and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation.
- Working with Shopify and other web-based platforms, including app installation, configuration, customisation and development.
- Assisting with the planning, development and implementation of new technical projects across the group.
- Leading technical projects and working with external developers or specialists where required.
- Supporting our cloud-based business systems, including VoIP phone systems and other web-based platforms.
- Providing remote technical support to staff across our offices when required.
- Troubleshooting general computer, software and technology issues.
About You
We're looking for someone who is technically capable, enjoys learning and has a genuine interest in technology and development.
You should:
- Be able to write and modify custom code.
- Have a genuine interest in web development and building systems.
- Be confident working with APIs and software integrations.
- Have experience building automations and workflows.
- Be comfortable researching and implementing AI tools.
- Be confident learning new technologies and platforms.
- Have experience with Shopify or similar web-based platforms.
- Be comfortable troubleshooting general technical and IT issues when required.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be organised, proactive and solutions-focused.
- Be comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
- Be happy working remotely and communicating effectively with the wider team.
Formal qualifications aren't essential.
Whether you're self-taught or formally trained, what matters is that you have the practical skills, experience and enthusiasm to do the job.
Hours & Flexibility:
This role is initially 15 hours per week, worked flexibly from home.
Additional hours are expected to become available as the business continues to grow.
We're looking for someone who can also be reasonably flexible. From time to time, an urgent technical issue may arise outside your usual working hours, and we'll ask you to jump in and help resolve it. Any additional time worked will, of course, be paid.
