Sales Representative

Cape Town, South Africa Full-Time | Hybrid | Field-Based

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Austell Pharmaceuticals is a pharmaceutical company. With a portfolio of trusted products and a commitment to healthcare excellence, Austell has built lasting relationships with independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups, and corporate chains alike.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a field-based sales role for someone who knows how to build relationships and close. You'll be promoting and selling Austell's pharmaceutical products across a mix of independent and corporate pharmacy environments.

IS IT FOR ME?

A degree in business, marketing, pharmacy, or a related field
Sales experience is a plus, but not a dealbreaker
Strong communicator who can present, persuade, and follow through
Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field
Valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
Resilient, goal-oriented, and honest in how you do business

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Build and execute a sales plan across independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups, and corporate chains
Conduct regular pharmacy visits to present products, manage orders, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
Hit and exceed sales targets while keeping detailed records of contacts, meetings, and territory activity
Keep pharmacists informed and educated on product updates, new launches, and relevant market information
Monitor competitor activity and report back on pricing, positioning, and market trends
Conduct product training sessions for pharmacy staff to build advocacy and confidence in Austell's range
Collaborate with the marketing and prescription teams on campaigns, launches, and promotions
Report adverse drug reactions and safety information accurately in line with pharmacovigilance requirements
