Stockroom Controller

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the store's department, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods.
Responsible for stock verification and investigation of all variances as well as conducting physical inventory counts and reconciliations in line with company standards
Coordinate with Fleet Department to ensure efficient and timely deliveries of goods.
Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
Conduct regular stock checks and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure all goods received are of the correct quality and quantity and in compliance with company standards and specifications.

Qualifications:

Matric Qualification
Able to work night shift is essential.
At least two years of experience in a similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computerised inventory management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Monitoring the stock is part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring that stock on the system truly reflects the physical stocks onsite.
