About The Role
As the Continuous Improvement (CI) Department continues to expand its capabilities across the Vestrel Group, we are seeking to appoint a Continuous Improvement Specialist to support the implementation of the Group's Lean Six Sigma Integration Programme. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify process variation, inefficiencies, waste, rework and performance gaps, while delivering measurable and sustainable improvements across operational and support functions. Working closely with the Process Improvement Coordinator, business units, process owners, subject matter experts and operational teams, the role will execute structured improvement projects, support process standardization, establish performance controls and facilitate the replication of proven improvements across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Lean Six Sigma / process improvement projects.
- Conduct process mapping, SIPOC, CPM, data analysis and root cause analysis.
- Identify and implement improvements that reduce waste, variation, rework, cost and cycle time.
- Collect and analyze data to establish baselines and validate improvement results.
- Work directly with process owners, SMEs and operational teams to implement and embed improvements.
- Document and standardize improved processes and support process ownership.
- Develop and implement performance metrics, control plans and monitoring mechanisms.
- Support process certification and ensure improvements are sustained.
- Identify successful improvements and support their replication across business units.
- Maintain project documentation, DMAIC outputs and improvement records.
- Promote consistent application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies across Vestrel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical, engineering, business or operations-related discipline.
Experience
Essential:
- 3 – 5 years' demonstrated experience executing successful Lean / SS improvement projects.
- Practical experience in process mapping, data analysis and root cause analysis.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent practical capability
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Planner, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate efficiently across multiple levels of the organization.
Advantageous:
- Experience with process control plans, standardization and process certification.
- Experience replicating improvements across multiple functions or business units.
- Experience with Minitab, Power BI and/or Microsoft Planner.
- Experience in complex, multi-site or project-based operational environments.

- Lean Six Sigma:

Have you documented and standardized improved processes, including procedures, work instructions, or other process documentation?
Have you developed or implemented process performance metrics, control plans, dashboards, or other monitoring mechanisms?
Have you been responsible for ensuring that process improvements were sustained after implementation through controls, monitoring, or process ownership?
- Replication & Governance:
Have you identified successful process improvements and supported their rollout or replication across multiple teams, departments, or business units?
