FLOOR MANAGER – OU MEUL PINELANDS

Location: Pinelands, Cape Town
Position: Full-Time Floor Manager

Ou Meul Pinelands is looking for an experienced and energetic Floor Manager to join our team.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume coffee shop and restaurant serving hundreds of guests daily. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives under pressure and can lead a team of approximately 40 staff members while delivering exceptional customer service.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Floor Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a busy café, coffee shop or restaurant.
Proven experience managing teams of 30–40 employees.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with staff scheduling, stock control and daily restaurant operations.
Must be reliable, well-presented and passionate about hospitality.
Own transport and flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the front-of-house team.
Ensure exceptional guest service at all times.
Manage daily floor operations and service flow.
Monitor staff performance and maintain company standards.
Handle customer complaints professionally.
Work closely with the kitchen and management team to achieve sales and operational targets.
