We are looking for a dynamic and talented Video, Motion & Digital Designer to join our marketing team at our Head Office in Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling, content creation, video editing, motion graphics and digital design.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality motion graphics, video content, social media creatives, and digital assets that bring our brand, promotions, in-store campaigns, and outdoor lifestyle content to life across multiple digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
· Create engaging motion graphics and video content for digital marketing campaigns, social media, paid media, in-store screens, and website content.
· Edit promotional videos, campaign launches, brand storytelling videos, event recaps, and product-focused content.
· Develop animated graphics, typography, transitions, and visual effects aligned with the brand identity.
· Design digital assets including social media graphics, website banners, email creatives, product visuals, and campaign artwork
· Assist in creating content for seasonal campaigns, events, activations, rewards programmes, and outdoor adventure promotions.
· Capture and edit video footage and stills where required for campaigns, interviews, products, or events.
· Collaborate closely with the Retail, E-com and Digital teams to ensure creative consistency across all platforms.
· Adapt video and motion content for multiple formats including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, paid ads, and in-store digital screens.
· Stay updated with current design, animation, retail, and social media trends.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
· Ensure all creative output maintains a high level of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
Requirements:
· Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Motion Graphics, Multimedia Design, Digital Design, Film Production, or any other relevant field
· Extensive experience in Adobe Creative Suite: primarily After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
· Basic understanding of graphic design principles, layout, typography, and branding
- Experience creating content for social media, retail marketing, and paid advertising campaigns.
· Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar position
· Portfolio of completed motion graphics projects (only applications accompanied by a relevant work portfolio will be taken into consideration)
