We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Intern with a strong interest in Human Resources (HR) and experience in customer service and conflict resolution. This internship provides an opportunity to apply psychological principles in workplace settings while gaining hands-on experience in talent management, employee engagement, recruitment, training, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding human behavior, supporting positive workplace culture, and effectively resolving customer and employee concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Support
- Assist with recruitment activities, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Help maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement, wellness, and training initiatives.
- Participate in employee satisfaction surveys and help analyze feedback data.
- Support HR projects related to performance management, employee development, and organizational culture.
Employee Relations & Psychology Applications
- Apply psychological principles to support employee well-being and workplace engagement.
- Assist with employee feedback collection and workplace assessments.
- Observe and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving team dynamics and workplace communication.
- Support conflict resolution efforts and help facilitate positive working relationships.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Investigate customer issues and collaborate with relevant departments to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills to manage difficult situations effectively.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in Human Resources and employee development.
- Previous experience in customer service, customer support, or client-facing roles.
- Experience resolving customer complaints and handling sensitive situations professionally.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
