Job Description
Robert Bosch South Africa is a leading provider of innovative tracking solutions in South Africa. With a commitment to reliability, customer satisfaction, and technological advancement, we help our clients gain visibility, enhance efficiency, and protect their valuable assets. We are searching for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in South Africa. DThis role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the South African market, duties will include but are not limited to:
New Business Development:

Actively prospect, identify, and qualify new leads within target industries (e.g., logistics, transportation, construction, agriculture, mining, rental fleets, security, personal use).

Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client challenges and pain points.

Develop and present compelling, tailored solutions that demonstrate the value and ROI of our tracking products.

Cold calling, email outreach, networking, and attending industry events to generate new opportunities.

Must possess extensive knowledge and practical experience in tracking, telematics, and asset management solutions within the Agricultural, Automotive, Transport, and Industrial sectors.

Must be capable of identifying, developing, and implementing innovative tracking and monitoring solutions to support customer and business requirements
Sales Cycle Management:
-
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close, including proposal generation, negotiation, and contract finalization.

Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
Client Relationship Management:
-
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge:

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments in the South African tracking and telematics sector.

Continuously develop in-depth product knowledge of our entire tracking solutions portfolio, including hardware, software, and services.

Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on market insights and customer needs.
Reporting & Administration:

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management

Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding pricing, discounts, and sales processes.

Manage personal travel and entertainment expenses effectively.
Qualifications
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

Must be willing and able to travel extensively, both locally and internationally, including cross-border travel and extended business trips that may occasionally extend over weekends and public holidays.

Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to support customer engagements, project implementations, training, and business development activities across various regions.
Experience
-
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven successful B2B sales experience, preferably within the tracking, telematics, fleet management, IoT, or a related technology industry in South Africa.

Experience selling to a diverse range of industries within the South African market.

Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent in English (both written and verbal). Proficiency in additional South African official languages is a strong advantage
