Job Summary
· The NDT / QC Assistant is responsible for supporting the Quality Coordinator in carrying out quality control and non-destructive testing activities within the stainless-steel fabrication environment. The role focuses on assisting with inspections, maintaining traceability, preparing quality documentation, NDT activities, and ensuring that fabrication processes comply with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and company procedures.
· The NDT / QC Assistant provides hands-on support throughout the fabrication process, from material receipt and identification through fit-up inspections, welding activities, non-destructive testing coordination, cleaning verification, and final documentation compilation.
· This is a shop-floor-based position requiring regular interaction with production personnel, welders, boilermakers. The Assistant shall assist in preventing defects through early identification of quality concerns and by promoting adherence to established quality requirements.
· The NDT / QC Assistant shall demonstrate attention to detail, good organizational skills, a willingness to learn fabrication and inspection practices, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards in Production teams.
