GMSL Group located outside Durbanville is looking for a qualified Boilermaker to join our team.

Job description:
Fabricate and assembles metal pieces and products by using mechanical and handheld welding equipment. Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures. Works from specifications and drawings.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Follows all Company safety programs and requirements.
· Materials: Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Mild Steel
· Fabrication duties – develop and fabricate from complex drawings; mark off basic regular engineering shapes; assemble and mechanically join sheet, plate, tube, pipe, and steel sections etc.
· Prepare steel and ferrous metals for welding, weld work pieces with a variety of welding methods
· Assist in the compilation of work procedure and risk assessments.
· Inspects final products for quality assurance.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Trade Test Certificate in Boilermaker
· Experience in MIG and TIG welding is required.
· Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
· Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
· Pipe fitting experience will be advantageous
· Relevant experience in the fuel industry will be an added advantage.
· Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings (i.e., structural and fabrication)
· Good communication skills with the ability to read and write in English and Afrikaans.
· Must be medically fit
Education and Experience:
· Trade Test Certificate in Boilermaker
. Minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience required.
. Must have own transport

Pay: R13 840,00 - R19 030,00 per month
