Full Job Description

Document Controller / Project Administrator
Our client, a leading organisation within the mining sector, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller / Project Administrator to join their project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, maintaining accurate records, coordinating administrative activities, and ensuring that project information is controlled and distributed in accordance with company procedures. This position will be located in Brakpan, Gauteng.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric).
Qualification in Administration, Project Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
Previous experience as a Document Controller, Project Administrator, Site Administrator, or similar role.
Experience within the mining, engineering, construction, or project environment is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong document management and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage project documentation and records.
Ensure all project documents are accurately filed, tracked, and updated.
Control document revisions and distribution to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare reports, registers, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.
Assist with project administration, scheduling, and coordination activities.
Support project managers and site teams with administrative requirements.
Ensure compliance with document control procedures and quality standards.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding documentation requirements.
