About the Role
Hoop Medical is a specialist medical balloon manufacturer - one of only three independent companies of our kind globally - supplying customers in cardiovascular, neuro, and electrophysiology markets across the US, Europe, and beyond.
This is a relationship-focused, coordination-heavy role supporting our Sales Manager. You'll own assigned customer accounts end-to-end: managing communication, running the sales pipeline, preparing quotes, coordinating with our engineering and quality teams, and keeping our CRM clean and current. You'll also administer our NDA process and support our global independent sales reps.
You'll be based in our Cape Town office, working closely with a small local team while collaborating daily with our HQ in Ireland and customers worldwide - including occasional early morning or evening calls across time zones.
This is a high-autonomy role with real commercial visibility from day one. If you're organised, proactive, and curious about the technical side of what you're selling, you'll thrive here.
What You'll Do
- Report directly to the Sales Manager
- Be the primary contact for assigned customers: responsive, professional, and informed
- Manage the pipeline in our CRM from first enquiry through to purchase order
- Prepare quotes, coordinate technical input from engineering, and follow up to close
- Bridge customers with our R&D, production, and quality teams
- Run meeting cadences with customers and reps: agendas, minutes, follow-ups
- Administer our NDA process end-to-end via DocuSign
- Suggest improvements to how we work as you learn our systems
