We are currently hiring a Safety Officer for a fixed-term contract at Atlantis, Ankerlig.
Position overview
Safety Inspections & Compliance: Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, ensure safety procedures are followed, and enforce corrective actions for violations.
Incident Management: Investigate safety complaints, ensure incidents are reported, determine root causes, and oversee corrective actions.
HSE Training & Support: Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and employee inductions while providing guidance to project teams.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on safety legislation, assist in safety audits (e.g., ISO 45001), and maintain compliance with company and legal requirements.
Worksite Presence & Oversight: Provide visible HSE support at workshops and project sites, mentor staff, and ensure safety boards are up to date.
General HSE Administration: Maintain documentation, assist in safety program implementation, and fulfill additional HSE-related duties as needed.
