MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

National Diiploma of Health Science: Biomedical Technology
Registration with the HPCSA in the Histopatholological technique as Medical Technologist/Medical Technician
Experience in Anatomical Pathology
Knowledge for the usage of specialised instrumentation
Accuracy and organization skills
Attention to detail and strive for an error free standard
Time management and evaluations

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Perform equipment maintenance and root cause analysis.
Completing action reports according to SOP's
Trouble shooting laboratory equipment and quality control independently
Adhere to analytical times and basis TAT when embedding, cutting, staining, quality control checks and despatching of H/E special stains, frozen section biopsies and IMF
Verify QC of test results

QMS

Must have reliable transport

Work Location: In person
