Shape the Future with Us! A rewarding opportunity awaits a skilled Vacancy Name NBL Rosslyn Snacks in Rosslyn, Pretoria. Your role will be to ensure that planned- and preventative maintenance, breakdowns and project work on plant equipment is carried out.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to: Workshop Foreman
Key Areas of Impact:
Health and Safety and Food safety
- Sound Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations

Continuously adherence to a safe working practices

Adhere to the company safety policy

Adhere to the company food safety policies
-
Manufacturing of continuous improvements in the factory

Assistance with the implementation of the new equipment
Maintenance
-
Carry out breakdown repair work in the plant and on plant equipment
-
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance schedules as required on equipment within the area of responsibility
-
Perform planned shutdown work on plant and ancillary equipment
-
Contribute to the scope of work for planned maintenance activities
-
Identify potential reliability issues and poor engineering practices, take appropriate actions to rectify such deviations
Problem solving
-
Provide expert advice and guidance on problem-solving techniques to fellow workers
-
Adhere to the company escalation procedure
-
Contribute to investigating and completing root cause and failure analysis on recurrent breakdowns and failures.
Reporting

Complete checklists and take appropriate follow up measures
-
Provide performance feedback on task as well as team meeting platforms

Record all maintenance data on Shopware
What It Takes to Succeed:
Experience that set you up for success:
- Have at least 4 years of experience in processing plant machinery in an FMCG or manufacturing facility
-
Experienced and Knowledgeable with pneumatics
-
Working experience in conveyance systems
-
Working experience with vibrators ,fast backs ,extruders and packaging machies
-
Experienced with steam ,oil and water pipes
-
Experienced with Turning and Milling
-
Experienced with stainless steel fabrication and welding
-
Fabrication of chutes, squares, rounds and platforms
-
Food safe design and hygiene manufacturing experience
-
Boiler making skills advantage
-
Computer literacy-Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (e-mail)
Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:
