An established Process Technology and Manufacturing company in Paarl is looking for a skilled artisan to join our Engineering division on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties:
a) Fabrication and Manufacturing of components (both in workshop and on-site)
b) Welding – MIG and TIG
c) Fitting, Assembly and QC of mechanical components
d) Working with hand and power tools
e) Equipment maintenance – ensuring company assets are well-maintained
f) Housekeeping and safety compliance (both workshop & on-site)
g) Documentation & administration related to tasks
Duty Related Requirements:
a) Matric or N3 qualification in a relevant field
b) Minimum 5 years’ experience in welding, fitting, and fabrication
c) Proficient in TIG & MIG welding
d) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
e) Medically fit (no known medical conditions)
f) Valid Driver’s License and reliable transport (including for overtime/weekend work)
g) Red Seal qualification
h) Strong knowledge of safety & quality standards
i) Able to compile and complete related administration
j) No criminal record (background checks will be conducted)
k) Comfortable working at heights & in confined spaces

Compensation Package:
a) Between R 12 500 and R 20 000 per month
b) Based on experience and requirements met.
c) Package will be indicated prior to second round interview.
