Warehousing & Logistics Supervisor

About the Role
We are looking for a hands‑on, holistic analytical Warehousing & Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities: receiving, picking, packing, dispatching, and returns in own operated and 3rd party operated warehouses.
- Ensure efficient warehouse layout, storage optimization, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory, matching physical x system, through cycle counts, stock takes, and variance investigations.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with transporters, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor delivery schedules, route planning, and turnaround times.
- Lead and develop warehouse staff, ensuring performance, training, and compliance.
- Enforce safety standards in line with company policies.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports and track KPIs.
- Manage documentation including invoices, shipment and delivery records, and system transactions.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in warehousing or logistics.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems (SAP S4/Hana, Sage, etc.).
- Solid understanding of South African logistics and transport regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience on Supply Chain and Logistics in industry, manufacturing, retail distribution, or high‑volume and multicultural environments.
- Experience managing teams in a warehouse environment.
