We are passionate about creating exceptional digital experiences and are looking for an experienced Website Designer & Developer to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong website design skills with solid technical WordPress development experience and actively uses modern AI tools to improve efficiency, innovation, and website performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality WordPress websites.
- Maintain, update, and support existing client websites.
- Manage WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates.
- Monitor website health, performance, security, and backups.
- Troubleshoot website issues and implement fixes.
- Develop custom WordPress functionality and plugins where required.
- Work with a variety of WordPress themes, builders, and plugins.
- Configure and manage hosting environments and cPanel accounts.
- Optimise websites for speed, SEO, usability, and mobile responsiveness.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance website development workflows and outcomes.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers, and project managers.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding website requirements, support requests, and project updates.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience working with cPanel, hosting environments, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and email configuration.
- Comfortable working with multiple themes, page builders, and third-party plugins.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and maintain website health.
- Experience developing custom WordPress plugins and functionality will be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Passion for technology, digital innovation, and AI-assisted development.
