We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide range of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, bake, and decorate pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked products.
- Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.
- Develop and assist with new recipes and seasonal offerings.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
- Minimize waste and manage production efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker.
- Relevant culinary or pastry qualification is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
