Role Overview
Kensui is looking for a motivated and confident Sales Specialist to help grow our customer base through outbound sales and lead follow-up. This person will be responsible for cold calling gyms, fitness studios, personal training facilities, and other potential business customers, as well as contacting abandoned checkout prospects to recover sales and answer questions.
The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking on the phone, persuasive without being pushy, organized with follow-ups, and excited about fitness products. This role is focused on generating new sales opportunities, converting interested prospects, and helping customers understand the value of Kensui products.
Key Responsibilities
Cold call gyms, fitness studios, personal trainers, and other fitness businesses to introduce Kensui products.
Identify decision-makers such as gym owners, managers, purchasing teams, and head trainers.
Explain product benefits, use cases, pricing, and ordering options clearly and confidently.
Follow up with abandoned checkout prospects by phone, email, or SMS to recover potential sales.
Answer customer questions about products, shipping, pricing, compatibility, and promotions.
Qualify leads and determine whether prospects are a good fit for Kensui products.
Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, lead status, and follow-up tasks in the CRM.
Schedule follow-up calls, demos, or handoffs when needed.
Meet weekly and monthly targets for calls, conversations, recovered checkouts, qualified leads, and closed sales.
Share customer feedback, objections, and common questions with the marketing and product teams.
Help improve sales scripts, call flows, and follow-up messaging over time.
Main Focus Areas
1. Gym Outreach
The Sales Specialist will proactively contact gyms and fitness businesses to introduce Kensui, build relationships, and create sales opportunities. This includes pitching products for facility use, retail resale, trainer recommendations, or bulk orders.
2. Abandoned Checkout Recovery
The Sales Specialist will contact customers who started the checkout process but did not complete their purchase. The goal is to understand what stopped them, answer concerns, offer support, and help them complete the order when appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience in sales, cold calling, customer service, telemarketing, or lead generation.
Comfortable making a high volume of phone calls.
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
Ability to handle objections professionally and keep conversations positive.
Organized and consistent with follow-ups.
Basic understanding of fitness, gyms, strength training, or workout equipment.
Ability to clearly explain product benefits and guide prospects toward a purchase.
Comfortable using CRM tools, spreadsheets, email, and sales communication platforms.
Self-motivated, reliable, and goal-oriented.
Pay: R20 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
