To design, develop, and quality-assure Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (ODETDP)-aligned learning materials in accordance with Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) requirements. The role ensures that all learning programmes, curricula, and assessment tools meet accreditation standards and support effective learner outcomes.
1. Curriculum & Learning Material Development
- Develop QCTO-aligned occupational qualifications, part-qualifications, and skills programmes.
- Knowledge, Practical Skills, and Work Experience modules
2. Assessment Design & Alignment
- Develop formative and summative assessments aligned to QCTO standards.
- Ensure alignment with Assessment Quality Partner (AQP) requirements.
- 3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all materials meet QCTO and **South African Qualifications Authority requirements.
- Prepare documentation for:
- Accreditation submissions
- Conduct internal quality reviews and gap analyses.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Facilitate workshops for curriculum design and validation.
5. Learning Design & Methodology
- Outcomes-Based Education principles
- Adult learning methodologies
- Manage development timelines and deliverables.
- Track progress of multiple qualifications/materials simultaneously.
- Ensure version control and document management.
