We are looking for an Asset Controller to oversee the lifecycle of IT assets across the organisation. This role ensures IT equipment is properly tracked, maintained, compliant, and cost-effective.

Minimum Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field
1–3 years’ experience in IT asset management or IT operations
Experience with IT asset management tools and tracking systems
Strong understanding of IT hardware and infrastructure
Good organisational, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred

ITIL or Asset Management certification
Experience with Confluence or similar tools
Vendor and procurement experience

Personal Attributes

Detail-oriented and well organised
Proactive and reliable
Strong problem-solving skills
Able to adapt to changing business needs

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal)
Maintain accurate IT asset registers, including hardware, licenses, warranties, and locations
Coordinate ordering, deployment, and asset tracking across all sites
Manage vendors, contracts, and quotations related to IT assets
Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements
Oversee asset movements, refresh cycles, and equipment replacement
Produce regular asset and inventory reports
Support IT operations, including loan equipment, printers, and laptop schemes
