SAHETI School is an independent, co-educational, English-medium school dedicated to the
pursuit of excellence, while promoting the ethos and values of Hellenism. The school is situated
in Senderwood, Bedfordview.

SAHETI School, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic individuals for the
position of Receptionist. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for parents,
learners, visitors, and staff, providing professional reception and administrative support while
ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front office.

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12) and equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a reception, front office, or school secretary role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
A professional appearance and a customer-focused approach.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
The ability to speak and understand Greek will be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome and assist visitors, parents, and learners in a professional and courteous

manner.

Escort visitors to the appropriate venue or notify the relevant staff member to collect

them from reception.

Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and respond to email enquiries.
Coordinate and conduct school tours for prospective parents and visitors.
Provide administrative support for the admissions process, including responding to

enquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining admissions records.

Maintain a neat and organised reception area and ensure visitor sign-in procedures are

followed.

Provide general administrative and clerical support to staff and departments.
Manage filing systems, data capturing, and the school's general email account.
Monitor stationery stock levels, place orders, and coordinate the distribution of stationery

to staff.

Relay messages from parents to teachers and assist with general school-related

enquiries.

Contact parents when learners are unwell or injured and issue early exit slips when

required.

Coordinate prize-giving gowns, including the ordering, distribution, and collection

thereof.

Assist the General Driver of the School with operational and logistical duties when

required, including deliveries, collections, and transport-related administration.

The role will include active involvement in admissions and marketing activities.
