We are seeking a Site Account Manager to join our Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the single point of accountability for assigned customer sites.
You will build long‑term, trusted relationships, drive profitable aftermarket growth, and coordinate Metso’s people, products, and services to deliver sustainable value for our customers.
In this position, you will report to the Senior Sales Manager .
This position is mainly located in Centurion, Gauteng.
TEAM YOU’LL BELONG TO
You will join our Sales Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Mining Customers , Product Support Teams , Commercial Team , Field Services , sales Team and Management .
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Build trusted, long‑term partnerships with site‑level stakeholders, positioning Metso as a strategic partner rather than a transactional supplier
Own the commercial performance of assigned sites, consistently delivering profitable aftermarket growth
Develop and execute clear, actionable site account plans aligned to customer maintenance schedules, operating priorities, and investment cycles
Identify, shape, and support future capex opportunities in collaboration with capital sales teams and key internal stakeholders
Lead cross‑functional site account teams, mobilizing Metso’s product lines, services, and specialists to win, retain, and grow business
Build a deep understanding of customer operations, decision‑making processes, and buying timetables
Maintain accurate visibility of site opportunities, installed base, shutdown schedules, and forecasts through disciplined CRM management
Champion customer satisfaction initiatives, closed‑loop feedback, and continuous improvement activities
Support effective execution across forecasting, budgeting, and accounts receivable outcomes
Orchestrates customer satisfaction surveys and closed loop activities and ensures continuous improvement activities
Supports Accounts Receivable
WHO YOU ARE
Matric (Grade 12)
Engineering or process‑related qualification, or equivalent industry experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales or Account Management
Sales experience in similar industry will be advantageous (Comminution, Flotation, Filtration and Pumps)
An existing customer network will be highly beneficial
Strong relationship building skills as well as communication and presentation skills
Good technical and sales background of various mineral processing equipment
Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust
A high level of computer skills is essential - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Travel extensively to allocated sites
Willingness to learn and continually improve own knowledge base
Driven and independent self-starter focused on meeting or exceeding targets set
