Your mission:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex full-stack applications with integrated AI/LLM capabilities
- Deploy local LLMs and multi-agent systems to support automated, high-complexity workflows
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines and MCP server integrations
- Analyze, optimize, and continuously improve existing software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Experiment with and explore new technologies, driving innovation across digital products
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Germany, South Africa, and other locations
- Contribute to code quality, system architecture, and user experience improvements
What you bring:
- Several years of experience in backend and/or frontend development
- Strong experience in Python (required for AI) and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Familiarity with React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frameworks
- Backend experience with FastAPI, Django (Python) or Node.js (JS)
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and vector databases
- Experience in API design, microservices, event-driven architectures, and containerized deployments(Docker/Kubernetes)
AI Engineering Experience / Knowledge:
- Working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and local LLM deployment frameworks (e.g., Ollama, vLLM)
- Implementation of RAG systems with vector databases
- Experience with multi-agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and tool orchestration
- Prompt engineering, streaming responses, and token optimization
- Pragmatic approach to integrating AI into production software solutions
Key Mindset:
- Enthusiasm for building reliable, scalable software with AI components
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems across frontend, backend, and AI systems
- Pragmatic, collaborative, and proactive approach to development challenges

- Production-ready RAG systems

- Local LLM deployments for regulated industries
- Real-time AI assistants with human-in-the-loop feedback
