Financial Accountant
An exciting career opportunity currently exists for a Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Manager and will be based in Centurion, with the possibility of hybrid work.
Purpose
The Financial Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager and the rest of the finance team and plays a key role in managing the financial operations and ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, for multiple companies within the group.
Responsibilities
· Processing of monthly transactions
· Balance Sheet reconciliations
· Preparing information for VAT audits
· Assisting with preparation of forecasts and budgets
· Handling monthly, quarterly and annual closings
· Assisting the Finance Manager with annual audits
· Additional accounting duties and ad hoc projects, in line with the role, as required
Requirements
· Bachelors Degree in Accounting, or equivalent qualification
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial accounting role
Skills / Knowledge:
· Advanced Excel skills
· Knowledge of accounting reporting, regulations and procedures (IFRIS)
· Experienced with Sage 300 Accpac software will be an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: R40 000,00 - R43 000,00 per month
