Principal Accountabilities:

Support the maintenance and/or continuous improvement of the environmental management systems and processes.

Assist in promoting environmental stewardship within the organisation.

Contribute to compliance with applicable environmental management legislation and standards.

Maintain accurate environmental management records and documents.
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Specific Responsibilities:
-
Conduct environmental inspections.
-
Conduct environmental audits.
-
Conduct water monitoring.
-
Monitor consumption of natural resources.
-
Co-ordinate airborne noise monitoring.
-
Co-ordinate groundborne noise monitoring.
-
Co-ordinate biological water monitoring.
-
Co-ordinate monitoring of red data species.
Report- 1 unsafe act, unsafe condition, or incident per month.
-
Support environmental incident investigations.
-
Conduct environmental awareness campaigns.
-
Monitor compliance with environmental management procedures and processes.
-
Actively participate in toolbox talks and SHE committee meetings.
-
Perform other duties assigned by the Environmental Manager.
