McCain Foods South Africa seeks a Financial Accountant for a Fixed Term Period to support the Financial Controller with accounting related matters.
The role involves maintaining and monitoring cost controls for SGA (Selling, General and Admin), maintaining correct classification and accuracy of Financial Annual Reporting and ensuring McCain South Africa is tax compliant.

Collate, maintain and review financial and SGA reports, including management reporting.

Maintain the fixed asset register.

Income tax, provisional tax and tax pack preparation and completion.

Analyse income statement and balance sheet for financial reporting.

Complete quarterly and annual Statistics Survey Reports.

Handle General financial administration including confirmation of banking details for new or changed suppliers, assisting with annual audits, adhoc reports and reviews.

Maintain and/or improve standard operating procedures and alignment of personnel to procedures including on the job training/assistance/guidance.
About You.

BCom in Financial Accouting

Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles preferred.

Min 3 years of fixed asset accounting and Income Tax experience.

SAP experience is an advantage.
