This position starts at USD $6.00 per hour for approximately 25–30 hours per week during the initial training and probation period, leading to full time 40 hours per week.

Why This Role Is Different
This is not a large corporate call-centre property management position where you spend every day performing repetitive tasks. As part of a growing boutique U.S. real estate company, you will work directly with the business owner and gain hands-on experience across virtually every aspect of residential property management, renovations, project management, and real estate investing.

Experience Required
A minimum of two (2) years' direct experience in long-term residential property management is required.
Applicants must have direct experience with:
- Long-term residential property management
- Tenant communication
- Leasing
- Rent collection
- Maintenance coordination
- Serving notices
- Property management software
Please note: Experience managing Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, holiday rentals, or other short-term accommodation does not qualify as the required experience and will not be considered.

Working Hours
This position will initially require working primarily within U.S. Pacific Time (PDT/PST) while also accommodating U.S. Eastern Time (EST) and UK business hours when required.
Working hours will generally fall between 8:00 pm and 3:00 am South African time, Monday to Friday.
Due to the CEO's frequent travel between the USA and the UK, working hours may occasionally vary depending on operational requirements and active projects. Applicants must therefore be comfortable working a flexible schedule.
This is a fast paced position best suited to someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, highly organised, resourceful and able to manage multiple projects independently in remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage rental listings and tenant inquiries
- Coordinate property showings, applications and leases
- Support tenant move-ins, move-outs and ongoing communication
- Coordinate maintenance, inspections, contractors and vendors
- Assist with renovation and house-flip projects
- Track projects, tasks and property records
- Monitor rent payment status (tracking only)
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in property management, leasing or a similar role
- Experience coordinating tenants, contractors and maintenance
- Knowledge of property repairs and renovation projects
- Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- West Virginia or rural U.S. property experience is an advantage
