A high performance, dynamic, driven, and growing company operating in the motor industry has a vacancy for a Bookkeeper to join their team in Selby, Johannesburg.
Reporting to the Financial Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with management, and includes month end journals, cash recons, accounts payables recons, accounts receivables recons and collections to ensure financial reports are perfect month to month. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a strong personality to deal with branch managers on a day-to-day basis.
Educational pre-requisites:
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a full function bookkeeper
- Sage Evolution experience will be preferred.
- Motor industry experience will be preferred.
- Imports experience will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Advanced computer and Excel skills (VLOOKUP’s and PIVOTS non-negotiable)
- The ability to communicate effectively in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
