RCL FOODS seeks a highly organized, responsible and proactive SHERQ Administrator with excellent admin & systems capabilities to join the SHERQ Team based in Krugersdorp West. The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing professional administrative support across a range of SHERQ day to day duties. The successful incumbent will also take overall responsibility for administrative support in relation to maintaining data quality systems.
Contractor management:
Assist in contractor management- updating the SHE/SQA files.
Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments.
Enforce compliance of regulatory requirements including company TIMS policies and procedures.
Induction of contractors when needed.
Internal & External Audits:
Conduct Internal inspection and /or audits.
Assisting with documentation, records and files during both internal and external audits
Compile audit action plans.
Raising NCR’S for internal & external audits and follow up.
Administration:
Document control of all TIMS documents
Preparation of reports & presentations required as per TIMS.
Keep and populate minutes for meetings (food safety/ health and safety/ Management review meeting/ team meetings)
Capture and manage; Non-Conformances- Update NCR tracker and follow up on the outstanding NCR, Corrective Action Request, Internal Audit, Incident Management and Change Control, System software, data management and integrity
Compile & Trend info for OHS, Food safety meetings and management reviews: Micro, NCR’s, Complaints, GMP’s, Training, CCP’s, Medicals, incidents, etc.
Update training tracker and training skills matrix.
Distribute weekly Safety Toolbox Talks & monthly TIMS inspections to the SHERQ representatives.
Managing and purchasing of PPE.
Ensure first aid boxes are inspected monthly.
Arranging calibration / services of risk related equipment.
Update Notice Boards – TIMS
Matric and related studies on Food Technology or Biotechnology or Safety or Environmental/ studies in progress.
Various SHERQ related short courses will be advantageous.
Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ work experience.
Administration background will be advantageous.
Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, EHS systems
Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel graphs & Power point) & Reporting Skills).
