Logistics Coordinator, South Africa

Overview of Duties
· Coordinate timely and accurate shipments
· Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents
· Identify and fix shipping errors
· Monitor production timelines in regards with project deliveries.
- Coordinate and track supply chain operations through effective communication with manufacturers, suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Solve shipping and inventory issues for relevant stakeholders
- Analyze logistics-related data, and suggest improvements for efficiency
· Compiles carrier and route assignments.
· Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments for internal reports.
· Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
· Review shipping documentation to ensure correct.
· Provide update status reports to relevant stakeholders.
· Attend site visits for loading/offloading of cargo when required.
· Prepare loading plans
· Complete paperwork / BOLs
· Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
Qualification Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree (supply chain & logistics concentration is a plus)
· 3+ years' experience in bulk marine operations and/or logistics management
· Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
· Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
· Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
· Previous customer service experience
· Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Thrives in a fast-paced environment

Pay: R250 000,00 - R350 000,00 per year
