Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in the Cellar Department, based at Adam Tas in Stellenbosch. The successful applicant will report to the Admin Controller.

Key performance areas include (but are not limited to):
- Manage the Certification process
- Liaise with winemakers, SAWIS and DAFF to ensure that certification is done properly
- Drawing of wine samples from production lines for certification submissions
- Drawing of sample labels from Dry Goods for the certification submissions
- Informing winemakers, production planning and export department, when labelled or bulk certified stock has been approved by SAWIS and DAFF, also attend meetings when and if necessary
- Assist SAWIS inspectors with collection of bulk and bottled submissions
- Ensure effective and up to date filing system for certification documentation
- Control stock holding of plastic sample bottles
- Timeous ordering and issuing of certification seals to production lines
- Ensure and effective and up to date record system of imported wines.
- Stand in for Amin Clerk and Admin Controller with ad-hoc admin duties
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in the Cellar environment, and working with Wine Online
- Previous experience to SAWIS systems and procedures
- Computer literate in MS Office and SAP
- Be able to work independently and well under pressure
- Be able to always act professionally and in confidence
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential
- Attention to detail is essential
- Good interpersonal relationships skills
- Task orientated ability to take initiative and solve problems
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary
- Must have own reliable transportation.
