CUSTOMER CARE / SECURITY OFFICER
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Care / Security Officer to join our Southern Suburb branches as a roamer.
This role is focused on stock control, customer assistance, and store security. The successful candidate will help ensure that all stock entering and leaving the store is checked correctly and that company procedures are always followed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check incoming stock against invoices and delivery notes
- Verify and scan stock before customers leave the store
- Ensure product codes and quantities are correct
- Help prevent stock loss, theft, and incorrect stock from leaving the premises
- Report stock discrepancies or suspicious activity
- Assist with basic stock and administrative duties
- Welcome customers and direct them to the correct salesperson
- Conduct security checks and patrol the shop floor and surrounding areas
- Assist with opening and locking the store together with management
- Drive staff members when required
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Clear criminal record
- South African citizen / Permanent South African Resident
- Valid Driver’s License
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work under pressure and follow procedures
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must reside in or near the area
- Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays
Experience:
- Administration: 1 year (Required)
- Retail security: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's license (Required)
